Inspiration – My entire
family has acne (except my mom). Is acne genetic? We are from a pretty large family
of 4 sisters and 3 brothers. My dad
is the one who has the acne gene (assuming it’s genetic). My dad still has an acne problem; it
has actually gotten worse over the years as he ages. It has now turned into Rosacea, with a
combination of Cysts and nodular acne.
He has Full body acne. I got into acne treatments because of my dad; he always had
asked me to do research on what he should use next, to do reviews on products
for him. I felt so bad because
I knew that he never really looked in the mirror to admire himself he always
looked in the mirror to see how he would face the day. How many new blemishes’ was always his
first thought every morning. My
Siblings: My sister and Accutane- She was going to get married
and felt so insecure about her face. Even after trying so many acne products
she still had severe acne. We all
warned her NOT to take Accutane because of the side effects in bones
density loss and fertility problems and you name
it… WAY
TOO MANY SIDE EFFECTS!!! If you have
ever had acne “severe acne” then I think you will know exactly how she
felt. Sometimes it’s just worth the
risk. If she took Accutane she
figured she had an 80% chance to have side effects and a 20% chance that the
side effects would be minimal or nothing at all. WHAT
WOULD YOU DO? Well I know I would have done what she did. I remember exactly what She told
me… “Ella there really is nothing else…if I don’t take it I have a 100%

silently- I won’t have people look at me as if they feel sorry for me or think I

several months she looked great, no more acne. WOW… although I did notice the odd break

youngest brother has very bad back acne, face acne and chest acne. He has tried using acne treatment creams
and washes which all result in “temporary” effects. My older brother has neck and chest acne. His is usually cause by stress and diet
as our studies have noted. The rest of
us have periodic burst of acne. Which is
caused by hormonal- testosterone increases and our diets and health. THE POINT IS THAT WE ALL HAVE HAD ACNE OR
