How Does The Digestive System Effect Acne?

By studying the colon we can find out further details on what causes acne. The colon otherwise known as the intestines give the digested food a safe passageway out of the body. The majority of food products are absorbed while passing through the first section of intestines which is called the small intestines. The second section called the large intestines is responsible for the absorption of water and excretion of waste material.

Don't dispair, there are ways to turn back the clock ...

There is treatment! I would personally suggest fiber as a start. A good diet and lots of garlic. ;) Or how about just a large intestinal cleanse.

I am in the process of reviewing some good colon flushes. I will have this page update with my reviews on different types of products available on the market.

If you would like to try a make it at home colon flush recipe I have a great one... That is also coming soon.

So what exactly do your intestines have to do with the causes of acne? A closer look...

What Causes Acne? Digestive System: Intestines and Constipation ...

The digestive system break food down into different components sending the nutrients to the blood to transfer to other organs and tissues where these nutrients can be used to give energy, growth and repair tissues. The rest of the food labeled waste is sent to the intestines to be excreted through anus. Problem is not everything that enters the large intestines leaves. When the intestines fail to empty properly, the waste remains and accumulates therein. A good example is when you are constipated, therefore not regular with your bowl movements. How is your body to dispose of the toxic feces'? The toxins are sent to secondary organs. The wastes that is stored and left in your colon produces toxins, some of which exit the intestines through surface cells and enter the blood stream this then travels towards the liver to be filtered. Sometimes the liver can filter these toxins, but a person with unhealthy intestines or kidney often has an unhealthy liver as well. When the liver does as much as it can it passes the excess to the lungs and skin, and that is what causes acne. The causes of acne start from the inside then out. Bottom line "What you eat is what you are!"
